Birba is a tiny but mighty wine bar and shop in the heart of San Francisco, making wine fun and approachable for everyone. No snobbery, just great bottles.
Our collection highlights small-scale winemakers from near and far, with a special focus on indigenous grape varieties that are delicious, food-friendly, and support biodiversity. We believe in keeping even the most allocated wines priced fairly so everyone can enjoy them.

Birba Wine Club
Each month, owner Angie Valgiusti pulls a selection of bottles inspired by the seasons, the makers, and otherwise excellent finds. Your monthly subscription is accompanied by winemaker and tasting notes, and occasionally a playlist or recipe suggestion!
The Club
Two bottles - $65/mo.
Expect selections as interesting and varied as Birba’s typical offerings, perfect for sipping anytime.
The Premium Club
Two bottles - $99/mo.
A bit more rare and esteemed than those procured for our entry level club, chosen monthly with the more sophisticated occasion in mind. Whatever that means for you! Celebrating a promotion or cracking open a special bottle for Wednesday night takeout. Fine wines for good times.

- Monthly Pickup Party with complimentary special pours & snacks. Stick around after the party, grab a table for you and up to 3 guests and receive 10% off your dine-in check.
- Reservations (for up to 4 guests) are open to members for booking with 24 hours notice through The Third Place messaging service.
- We’ll treat you to a glass of wine on your birthday.
Pickup
Club wines will be available for pickup starting on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The 3rd Thursday from 3-6 pm is usually also when we have our Monthly Pickup Party.
You'll receive complimentary special pours and snacks at the Pickup Party. Plus, stick around after, grab a table for you and up to 3 guests, and receive 10% off your dine-in check!
Can't make it to the Pickup Party? No worries, you can come by for pickup any time after, during business hours.
We are located at 458 Grove St, San Francisco.
Given our spatial limitations, we cannot store more than four pickups for any club member. Orders older than four months will be considered forfeited and may not be retrieved or refunded. We kindly ask that you reach out when additional accommodations are required.
Delivery
Delivery takes place on Friday, the day after the Monthly Pickup Party. At this time, we deliver to these San Francisco ZIP codes only:

+$15. Delivery ETA between 2-8 pm.
Please note: someone over the age of 21 with valid photo ID must be physically present to receive alcohol deliveries. If we are unable to deliver your Wine Club, it will be returned to Birba and will be held for you to pick up.
Billing and Cutoffs
The second Tuesday of every month is the last day to place an order for that month’s Wine Club. This is also when your recurring billing takes place.
You can make any changes, such as skipping the upcoming month, before then.
Need to skip a month? No problem—simply log in to your Member Portal to skip.
You can also cancel at any time through the Member Portal.
